Ive a 98 1.0 Swift manual.... Im disabled and cant drive manual..

Ive bought a 96 1.3 Swift Automatic.... Car was a donor for body panels and interior.. So Ive a low milage engine and autobox with all ancillaries.

How hard is it to either

1/ Swap the 1.3 engine and autobox into my 1.0 swift? Whats involved etc etc

2/ Swap the 1.3 Autobox into the 1.0 swift, replacing the manual box? Whats involved?

1. Probably a lot more than you might first think as electrics and electronics will be different and need changing too. Of course the pedal set up is completely different.

2. No good as even if it will fit the gear ratios will be completely wrong.

Replacing the car is the only practical option unless you can do all of the work yourself and are very resourceful.

The car would then be classed as modified and could increase the insurance a lot
